Our students will have spent several on their own living on the streets with no mandates to attend school, keep up their studies or participate in any learning experiences.
Our Student Assessment team will evaluate each of the students as to their level of competency and determine what the priorities might be to bring them up to the ideal level suitable for their age.
There are three critical components of the student role in advanced formative assessment practice. These are self-assessment, peer feedback, and discourse. Each of these is a key entry point for students to engage in using evidence to advance their own and their peers’ learning.
